What is the conference cancellation policy?

• You may cancel your registration for a full refund until July 16, 2024.
• Cancellations from July 17 – August 31, 2024 will receive a 50% refund.
• All cancellations from September 1, 2024 onward will NOT be refunded.
• For hotel cancellations, please reference your hotel confirmation for any cancellation fees that may apply.  AAHA is not liable for any person hotel cancellations or no-show fees. 

What will appear on my credit card statement when I pay for registration?

AAHA Con Registration will appear on your statement. 

Can I bring a guest?

Yes, guest passes are available.  Guest passes are $300 and include exhibit hall entrance and provided food and beverage. CE credits and access to the breakout sessions are NOT included for guest passes.

How do I make changes to my registration?

You will receive a confirmation via email upon receipt of registration. If you have any questions regarding registration, please contact the AAHA CON Registration Team at [email protected] or 800-252-2242.

I did not receive a confirmation email, what do I do?

First, please check your spam folder to make sure it was not mislabeled as junk. If you did not receive a confirmation email, it is very likely that you did not complete all of the required fields on the registration form. Please revisit the website and complete the registration entirely, clicking "Submit" at the end to submit. I am driving to the event, do I need to register?

Yes, the registration process ensures your attendance at the meeting is confirmed.  AAHA CON 24 offers multiple registration types including one-day and two-day only options.

How do I book my hotel room?

The contracted conference rate is $309* plus applicable taxes per night. Book by August 19th to secure this rate.   Check-in time is 4:00 PM, check-out time is 11:00 AM.  *Room rate is $282 per night, plus $27 per night daily resort fee. Current tax rate is 18%.

Room reservation cancellations must occur at least 72-hours prior to arrival to avoid a one night’s room and tax penalty charge. Cancellations must be made through the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center.

Yes, you can contact the hotel directly with any room reservation changes or cancellations.  Please call +1 301-965-4000.  Inform the hotel staff that you are with the AAHA CON 24 event. 

What is the contracted room rate?

AAHA has negotiated a conference rate of $309 per night plus applicable taxes. Room rate is $282 per night, plus $27 per night daily resort fee. Current tax rate is 18%. 

What is the resort fee and what does it include?

The daily resort fee, currently $27 plus applicable taxes, will be added to the guest room rate per room per night.  This fee includes:

• Resort-wide internet access 
  • In-room WiFi for up to six (6) devices
  • Basic WiFi access in Public Areas
• 24-hour access to the fitness center
• Sunrise Yoga
• Access to indoor junior Olympic sized pool
• Transportation on the National Harbor Circulator Bus
• Two bottles of Aquafina water in-room
• Complimentary cookie or piece of fruit at Potomic District Cafe & Market
• Welcome cocktail for two people at Harbor Social
• Up to 20 black and white photo copies at FedEx

Ground transportation to/from any airport in the area to the Gaylord National Resort & Conference Center will NOT be provided.

What is the dress code?

The attire for meetings is business casual, which includes nice jeans.  Meeting room temperatures may vary, so please bring a light jacket or sweater. 

Are there any current COVID requirements?

No, currently, there are no local requirements for mask/face covering. Guidelines are subject to change, so we will provide any updates prior to the meeting dates.

How many RACE/CVPM CE hours will be offered?

The AAHA CON 24 team is currently finalizing the credit offerings for 2024.  Please check back soon.
